This is the only course accepted as a first or single major in Psychology.

Candidates who wish to take two majors in Psychology should form their second major of three other Psychology subjects passed in the Second and Third Years of the course. These subjects are Psychology IIB, Social Psychology and Psychopathology.

The course must comprise at least one full year's work hi Arts in addition to the subjects of the course for bachelor of Science. The faculty has defined a full year's work as at least four subjects, of which at least two must be of grade 2 or 3.

The

course must comply with the requirements for the degree of bachelor of Arts.

Credit in the Arts course may be granted for the following subjects which may be taken in the Science course:

° COMBID7ED COURSE FOR THE DEGREES OF BACHELOR OF ØTS, BAСKELон OF LAws

A bachelor of Laws who wishes to complete the course for bachelor of Arts (ordinary degree) will receive credit for a major in group 2 and one other group 2 subject, and may complete the second major by passing in Modern Government A and Modem Government B or Australian History. He will retain credit for the two Arts subjects of the First and Second Years of the Law course. The remaining subjects must be chosen so that the course complies with the requirements for the degree of bachelor of Arts.

Students wishing to combine the courses for the degree of bachelor of Arts (ordinary degree) and bachelor of Laws will receive similar credit, but must take the subjects of the Law course in the order required by the Law regulation. Such students will not be eligible for admission to the Arts degree until they have completed at least the Third Year of the Law course, which will usually be the Fourth Year of the combined course.

Special six-year courses have been approved for students who wish to combine a course for bachelor of Arts ( degree with honours) with the course for bachelor of Laws. Details of this course in the school of History will be found on p. 112 and in the school of Political Science on p. 173. For details of courses for bachelor of Arts (hops) in other schools or combined courses and bachelor of Laws, students should consult the sub-dean.

This course must include a major in Arts subjects in addition to the subjects taught by the departments of Commerce, Economic History and Economics, and must comply with the requirement that at least one subject from each of groups 1(a), 2, 3 and 4 be passed. The course must comprise at least eighteen subjects in all.
